Friday Morning FYI – 10/03/14

Writers, try to read like a reader, not a writer. Yes, this is harder than it sounds, but is especially important when self-editing, and when another writer asks you to look at their work.

Writer’s Digest Conference 2014 Session Wrap-up

WDC2014If you write and plan to publish, attending writing conferences is invaluable. There’s so much to learn, so many people to meet, and a lot of fun to be had. I recently attended my first conference, the Writer’s Digest Annual Conference in New York City, and can’t express how much of an impact it had on me. But since I hate “… can’t…”, I’m going to try.
